Breaking: Eruobodo, 24 Others Inaugurated As Campaign Committee In Obafemi-Owode Council Poll






Ahead of the forthcoming local government election in Ogun State, Obafemi Owode local government has inaugurated twenty-five men committee and twenty men sub committee towards ensuring the victory of All Progressives Congress APC in the twelve wards of the council.

The committee was chaired by Hon. Fatai Mustapha popularly known as Eruobodo, as the Campaign Director General, who is equally the transition chairman of Obafemi Owode local government, while Hon Kunle Kuti was the Deputy Campaign Director General and Com Femi Oyedele was the Secretary of the committee.


While speaking with newsmen shortly after the inauguration of the committee in Abeokuta City, Hon Mustapha Fatai Eruobo expressed satisfaction over his selection as the campaign Director General for the electioneering campaign of Ogunsola Lanrewaju Adesina as the chairman of Obafemi Owode local government, he promised to work tirelessly with the committee members towards ensuring victory for All Progressives Congress APC candidates in forthcoming council election.

He admonished the people of Obafemi Owode environment to cooperate with the campaign committees as he said the party will continue in it's magnanimity to ensure dividends of democracy is delivered to them as at when due without any hiccups.

In the same vein, Hon Damilola Soneye Kayode, Member of House of Assembly representing state constituency appealed to the people of Obafemi Owode local government to vote for the right candidate in the coming local government election to ensure continuation of the ongoing developmental goal in the council. "I want to appeal to our people in the local government to ensure they vote for All Progressives Congress APC for good governance at the grassroot, Governor Prince Dapo Abiodun has assured us of credible poll.

Also, Hon Kola Sorinola, the former commissioner of Special Duties in Ogun State enjoined the people of Obafemi Owode to come out in mass during the campaign, as well as on the election day to vote for Ogunsola Lanrewaju Adesina as the chairman of the council.

Hon Idowu Olude, Local Government Party Chairman, also implored the people in the twelve wards in Obafemi-Owode to move out massively during the campaign period and also the day of the election to deliver the chosen candidate who will continue the developmental project in the council.

Conclusively, the chairmanship candidate of Obafemi-Owode local government, Hon Ogunsola Lanrewaju Adesina thanked the leaders and party lovers for their love and support, he prayed that may the Lord grant them journey mercies back to their various destinations.
