Gov Abiodun Lays Foundation Of 100 Units Ilaro Housing Scheme, Restates Commitment To Housing Development

In continuation of the Prince Dapo Abiodun administration's commitment to housing development in Ogun state, the foundation stone of the first phase of 100 units Ilaro Housing Scheme was today laid by the Olu of Ilaro and Paramount ruler of Yewaland, His Royal Highness Oba Kehinde Gbadewole Olugbenle.

Situated along Ilaro-Ibeshe road, the housing estate is part of the Ogun State Affordable Housing Project revolution of the Dapo Abiodun led administration to bridge housing gap in the gateway state.

Ogun State Honourable Commissioner for Housing, Jagunmolu Akande Omoniyi led the state delegation which also included the Honourable Commissioner for Budget and Economic Planning, Hon. Laolu Olabimtan, Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, Dr. Toyin Taiwo, Special Adviser to the Governor on Housing, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Housing and Directors in the ministry.

Others at the event were the Bishop of Yewa Diocese of Anglican Communion, The Rt. Rev. Michael Adebayo Oluwarohunbi, Chairman, YSLG, Alhaji Olabode Rahmon Fagbenro, Dr. Ibikunle, Chief Mufutau Ajibola, Chief (Mrs) Apampa, Otunba Tunji Idowu among other important dignitaries witnessed the ceremony. 

Ogun State government is committed to reducing the housing deficit across the state and no senatorial district will be left out in the arrangement.
