Insecurity: Makinde Relocates To Ibarapa, Meet Stakeholders


To ease tension and find lasting solutions to the insecurity bedeviling the people of Ibarapaland, Governor Seyi Makinde yesterday passed the night in Igbo-Ora, headquarters of Ibarapa Central local government.

Makinde’s visit, OYOINSIGHT.COM understands, came after many people had criticized him for not visiting the zone where killer Fulani bandits have been killing and kidnapping the people.


This newspaper recalled how Yoruba activist, Chief Sunday Adeyemo, popularly known as Sunday Igboho, had, after a 7-day ultimatum, visited Igangan to chase our killer Fulani bandits.

Makinde, who arrived Ibarapaland yesterday afternoon, and met political appointees from the zone immediately in Igbo-Ora, is billed to visit Igangan Monday morning.
