The People's Democratic Party PDP in Ogun State said it has suspended Mr. Adeleke Shittu, Mr. Boladale Sanni and Mr. Sunkanmi Oyejide over anti party activities.
According to circular made available to AmeboNewsHub by Hon. Ajayi Abayomi
Ag. Publicity Secretary of the party reads;
This is to inform the General Public that the People's Democratic Party (PDP) Ogun State Executive Committee (SEC) under the Chairmanship of Chief Samson Bamgbose met and considered the report of the Disciplinary Committee headed by Mr. Bola Odumosu, after robust deliberation, approved the suspension of the following State Executive Members:
1. Mr. Adeleke Shittu
2. Mr. Boladale Sanni
3. Mr. Sunkanmi Oyejide.
They were suspended for various anti-party activities as recommended by the Committee in accordance with Section 58 and 59 of Our Party's Constitution, as such, they remain barred from parading themselves as PDP State Executives Members.
Sequel to the above, the State Executive Committee, approved, with immediate effect, the appointment of the following members:
1. Mr. Raphael Olaosebikan as Acting State Secretary.
2. Hon. Ajayi Abayomi as Acting Publicity Secretary and
3. Mr. Matthew Adesiyan as Acting Chairman, Yewa North LGA.
This is in accordance with the SEC powers as enshrined in the constitution of Our Great Party. Furthermore, the Party is determined to bounce back from its recent defeat ahead of the next general elections as indiscipline and gross misconduct will not be tolerated within the Party.
Meanwhile in a reaction of Oyejide Sukanmi, It was widely reported by reputable media houses that Bamgbose and 6 others were suspended on the 9th of November 2020 by the state executive committee of the party for anti party activities. How can a suspended member of the party who has lost his membership of the party suspend me? This is laughable once again. Bamgbose should appear before the disciplinary committee of the party headed by Dr. Remi Bakare if he is still interested in PDP. At the moment he is not a PDP member.
Bamgbose has been adequately replaced in line with the constitution of our party by Barr. Sanni Boladale.
This is another wild goose chase by Bamgbose and his co-travellers.
