In recognition of its outstanding achievements in redefining transport unionism in Ogun State, the Articulated Motorcycle Riders and Owners Association of Nigeria (AMORAN) has bagged the award of most accommodating transport Union in Ogun state.
According to the press statement by signed Adeyiga Azeez Adelaja, SSA on Media, Ogun State AMORAN, The award which was organized by an online media, Amebo Newspaper, was presented to the Union Chairman, Otunba Nurudeen Aina Alowonle in Sagamu, earlier today.
Also present at the award presentation were the Union’s Board of Trustees Chairman, Alhaji Wale Ajiboye, the Special Adviser to the Governor on political matters, Hon. Biyi Adeleye, as well as other State executives of AMORAN.
According to the media outfit, AMORAN has through its executive and members, exuded progressive strides, which is unrivaled in the transport sector.
It said the award was presented to the Union to encourage it to do more, especially in being a model for other unions in the transport sector.
Receiving the award, the Union Chairman appreciated the media outfit for the recognition, saying “This award, I believe is further proof of AMORAN’s commitment to changing how people see motorcycle union. We are gradually sending a message of transformation and significant progressivism.”
Continuing, he said “Moreso, what this award goes to show is that we are ever ready to work with any transport Union in this state in order to achieve the ‘Building our Future Together Agenda’ of the current administration in Ogun state.”
“I thank you most profoundly for this award even as I, on behalf of the union promise that we will not rest on our oars in doing even better.” he submitted.
