It's a pleasure to meet and interact with Stakeholders of Wasimi Community at the Segun Odegbami International College and Sport Academy, Wasimi , Ewekoro Local Government Area, Ogun State on 20th December, 2020.
The meeting which was facilitated by Chief Segun Odegbami 'Mathematical 7' was aimed at intimating farmers with ongoing Agricultural intervention programmes in Ogun State, including Anchor Borrowers Programme, Ogun State Planting Materials Palliative Programme, Presidential Fertilizer Palliative Initiative and the CBN Anchor Borrowers Programme for Noiler Chicken as part of the State Government’s all-inclusive Agricultural Agenda for Job Creation, Food Security, Employment Generation and Sustainable income and livelihood for smallholder farmers during and after the pandemic period.
Others in attendance were the Baale of Alagbon, Project Coordinator, Ogun State Economic Transformation Project (OGSTEP), the Managing Director of AgroBluestar Limited, Farmers Representatives in the 36 villages in Wasimi Community.
I also paid a visit to Agro blueplast Limited; A Green House Farm located within Wasinmi, Ewekoro LG to inspect and interact with the Investors on possible collaboration with Ogun State on Tomato and Pepper Value Chain.
