SAGAMU KILLINGS: OGUN ASSEMBLY ASKS SECURITY AGENTS TO FISH OUT KILLERS


Ogun State House of Assembly through its committee on Transportation has decried the gruesome killings of four people including three members of the Oodua People's Congress and a member of the Road Transport Union in Sagamu axis of the State urging the security agents to fish out their killers. 

Consequently, the State Police Command has been urged to fish out the killers, just as it demands progress report on the investigation of two people arrested on the incident.

The Chairman of the Committee and member representing Odeda State Constituency, Hon. Oludaisi Elemide made the submission during a parley with the General Manager, Parks and Garages Development Board (PAGADEB), Mr. Sesan Asenuga as well as the leaders of the various transport unions in the State at the Assembly Complex, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta. 

He underscored the need to bring the evil perpetrators to book, with a view to averting a reoccurrence of such the dastard act. 

Elemide stated that the 9th Assembly was irrevocably committed to promoting peace and tranquility in all parts of the State, hence it would engage all necessary stakeholders to unravel the remote and immediate causes of the murder as well as those involved with a view to sanitizing the transportation sector in the State.

He warned that anyone with no form of affiliate or official working relationships/ authorized by appropriate government agencies with any of the parks and garages across the State should desist from interfering in union-related matters.
