The newly elected Executive Members of Poultry Association of Nigeria Ogun State Chapter (PANOG) were on a familiarization visit to the Commissioner for Agriculture at his Office at Oke-Mosan on Wednesday, 16th December, 2020.
The Executive members led by the Chairman of the association Engr. Idowu Asenuga appreciated the Commissioner for the support of the State Government to the association in the past and also to seek for continuous support in terms of land, subsidy, incentives and inputs.
The Chairman also intimated the Commissioner concerning the proposed Poultry show in the coming year and to seek assistance for possible collaboration with Ogun State Government.
Responding, the Commissioner for Agriculture, Dr Samson Adeola Odedina appreciated the association for their role during the World Food Day Programme and promised full support to the association in all their proposed Agricultural Intervention Programmes
Also present at the meeting were the Permanent Secretary
Ogun State Ministry of Agriculture, Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Agriculture and the Director of Livestock Department.
Ogun State Government, through the Ministry of Agriculture, will continue its support for farmers’ groups, as part of the State Agricultural Agenda of Food Security and Job Creation.
