Nigerian man stabbed to death by his Afghan roommate in Portugal

A 29-year-old Nigerian man was on Wednesday, December 8, 2020, stabbed to death by his roommate in Lisbon, Portugal.

Henry Onyekachi arrived the country some months ago as a refugee and was put in the same room with a 45-year-old Afghan refugee.

On Wednesday, they had a clash over house chores and the fact that the suspect was having a negative influence on the other refugees in the apartment.

However, the suspect didn’t take it lightly. He later reached for a knife and stabbed Henry in the back, leading to his death due to excessive loss of blood. He has since been arrested.
