Following the emergence of Comr. Asefon Sunday as President, National Association of Nigerian Students - NANS, the Ogun State axis of the student structure has congratulated him on his well-deserved victory.
The Secretary General, Comr. Adeyemi Samson stated that Comr. Asefon is a visionary leader and admonished NANS Ogun Chapter to give him the maximum support needed.
The State Public Relations Officer, Comr. Sodiya Abayomi, in a release to journalists in Abuja, on Friday, 4th December, 2020 disclosed that NANS, at the national level has taken the right path by electing Asefon as President.
Sodiya who also applauded the Nigerian students for choosing the newly elected exco in a well coordinated election, urged Asefon to keep to his campaign promises and work towards ensuring sustainable developments within the students' sphere.
He pointed out the need to carry everyone along in all his programs and policies, so as to record overwhelming immeasurable achievements.
Finally, he urged the new leadership to further ensure the stability of education, stressing that university students' have stayed too long at home.
