Why I Rejected Gov Dapo Abiodun's Plant Gate Appointment, Otunba Owolabi Taiwo (Apata)

RE: REJECTION OF THE APPOINTMENT OF OTUNBA OWOLABI TAIWO OLAWALE (APATA) AS MEMBER, PLANTGATE LIMITED.

The appointment of Otunba Owolabi Taiwo Olawale (Apata) as member, Plantgate limited, by the Governor of Ogun state, Prince  Dapo Abiodun is not only  shocking but absurd,  demeaning and downgrading considering his(Otunba Owolabi Taiwo Olawale) political vis-à-vis his  administrative pedigree and  acumen.

According to press statement made available and signed by Hon. Ademola Akindoyin Coordinator, Dapo Abiodun-Apata Political Movement, Ijebu North Local Government, "The news of the appointment came to us as a rude shock, and it saddens our heart considering the humongous investment and enormous contributions of our Principal, Otunba Apata towards electioneering processes which eventually led to the victory of His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun, Executive Governor of Ogun State.

Our campaign organization, "The Dapo Abiodun-Apata Political Movement" in furtherance of her mission viewed the appointment as below par. Consequently, the said  'appointment' lacks the capacity to shoulder the political structure of our movement and that of our  principal.

We hereby with due respect to His Excellency,  Prince Dapo Abiodun decline and reprobate  the appointment of Otunba Apata  as a member of the PLANGATE LIMITED.

It is also pertinent to bring it to  notice that  the the rejection of the  appointment is not one borne out of self aggrandizement but one done  in the interest of our  party,  All Progressive Congress(APC).

NB: Members and supporters of our political  structure in Ijebu Igbo and Ijebu North Local Government at large are urge to remain calm while we await further reactionary moves  from Otunba Owolabi Taiwo Olawale (Apata).

Best Regards
