Biyi Otegbeye rejects Dapo Abiodun’s Agric Development Appointment




Chief Biyi Otegbeye has rejected the appointment by Ogun State governor, Dapo Abiodun as Chairman of the  Agric Development Corporation.

Otegbeye made this known to The BeatNG in a reaction to the appointment by the state government.

According to Otegbeye, Abiodun did not notify him before he was appointed as the Chairman of the state’s agric corporation.

He added that for the time being, he is not ready to take up a role in that regard.

The BeatNG gathered that the governor of the state through a statement signed by the State’s Press Secretary, Kunle Somorin made key appointment into some state agencies on Tuesday in Ogun state capital, Abeokuta.

Some of the other agencies in which appointments were made include, Signage & Advert Agency,
Ogun State Internal Revenue Service (IRS), Ogun state parks and garages development board, Plantgate limited, Board of technical and vocational education, Ogun free trade zone (Ogun Guandong), Rubber Estate Ltd (waterside), Ogun state Agric Multipurpose Credit Agency, as well as Senior special assistants.

Otegbeye is a statesman and the Group Managing Director (GMD), Regency Alliance Insurance Group.
He is also a distinguished Chartered Insurer, Entrepreneur and Barrister of the Supreme Court of Nigeria.
