TOUR OF CASSAVA PROCESSING CENTRES: INTERNATIONAL FUND FOR AGRICULTURAL DEVELOPMENT (IFAD) RATES OGUN STATE AS ONE OF THE BEST STATES IN IMPLEMENTATION OF IFAD VALUE CHAIN DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME (VCDP)

Marketing Enterprise Development Advisor from the National Office of the IFAD Value Chain Development Programme (VCDP), has embarked on a familiarization and supervision tour to Agric Processing Centers in Ogun State, describing operations of Ogun State's Value Chain Development Programme (VCDP) as one of the best in Nigeria.

Some of the places visited were the Agbelere Baara Cassava Processing Centre as well as Harvest Feed and Agro processing Limited in Ajura, both in Obafemi Owode Local Government.

 Also present on the tour were the Commissioner for Agriculture, Dr. Adeola Odedina, Project Coordinator, Ogun State VCDP, Mr. Samuel Adeogun amongst other top officials of Ogun State Ministry of Agriculture.
