Dorcas Jepkemoi Chumba, 31 has died after she slumped into a dam as she posed to take pictures on a date at Chepkiit Waterfalls in Nandi Country, Kenya.
Her boyfriend, Benjamin Kazungu was taking photos of her when she fell into the raging waters of the dam on Sunday afternoon.
Victor Kiptoo, Dorcas brother said;
“The tragedy indeed took place and we have come to accept that Chumba is no more. We are, however, requesting for help to retrieve the body and give her a befitting send-off,”
The family of the deceased has asked the government to assist in getting the body back.
