Abeokuta - Ogun State Commissioner for Environment, Hon. Abiodun Abudu-Balogun has solicited further supports for Governor Dapo Abiodun-led administration in the state.
He noted that Prince Abiodun had good intentions for the state and was ready to ensure dividends of democracy get to the nooks and crannies of the Gateway state.
Hon Abudu-Balogun gave the plea while playing host to the State Liason Committee of the All Progressives Congress, Youth League, Ogun State Coordinate in his Office at Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta.
"We can only continue to pray and support Governor Dapo Abiodun because he really mean well for this state" He said.
The Commissioner who had been a youth ambassador for years, assured the youths of continuous support and elevation through Employment opportunities in a bid to curb restiveness among the youths.
"Even while I was in the House of representatives, I believed in Youth Empowerment and I did alot for the youth Constituency. The records are there" Abudu-Balogun explained
He called on youths to see the present administration in Ogun State as their government, pointing out that Governor Abiodun has an unwavering belief in Ogun youths.
Earlier in his address, Coordinator of the APC youth League in the State, Comrade Olamide Lawal sought for government's support in uplifting youths in the state.
Comrade Lawal maintained that "Youths are the set of people that are mostly involved in electioneering processes, hence they should be well compensated"
He urged the Commissioner to continue his love and frequent engagements with youths explaining that crime rate in the state could be reduced if potentials of youths were properly harnessed.
