Today, 10th September 2020, I embarked on a supervisory visit to Irede Cassava Processing Factory in Orile Imo, Obafemi Owode LGA of Ogun State, where 350tonnes of Fresh Cassava Roots are being utilised per day.
Irede Cassava Processing is an Agro Processing Industry situated in Ogun State, and also in partnership with Ogun State Government, as a major offtaker for youth focused Cassava value chain projects.
Also present on the tour were Representatives from the National Office of the IFAD Value Chain Development Programme (VCDP), Project Coordinator Ogun State VCDP, Mr. Samuel Adeogun and other top officials of Ogun State Ministry of Agriculture.
