Today, It is exactly 2 years our revered Egbe was christened by His Royal Majesty, The Awujale and Paramount Ruler Of Ijebuland, Oba (Dr) Sikiru Kayode Adetona, CFR, under the Leadership of Giwa Alhaji Suraju Adebayo Lasisi fondly calls Azury.
The Age Group, Obayori Okunrin Akile Ijebu "Kuye", prior to her royal and traditional recognition on 19th August, 2018, the Egbe was known and referred to as, "IJEBU REGBEREGBE (Okunrin) 1977--1979", under the coordination of Mr. Ayodeji Kolade Kuku. The age group are the Ijebu Sons born In the year 1977, 1978 & 1979.
On Sunday, 30th July 2017, in an epoch making event, the Egbe elected its executive committee members known as, Giwa-In-Council.
The historical event was part of the prerequisite for the official and traditional recognition by His Royal Majesty, The Awujale and Paramount Ruler Of Ijebuland, Oba (Dr) Sikiru Kayode Adetona, CFR.
The emergence of Giwa Alhaji Suraju Lasisi and other executive committee members marked the beginning of a new dawn in the egbe.
The emergence of the Giwa, Otun-Giwa, Eta-Giwa and other executive members of the Egbe was subjected to a democratic process under the supervision of an electoral committee known and referred to as "THE AFOBAJES".
The election was conducted on 9th April, 2018, with Alhaji Suraju Adebayo Lasisi emerged as the Life Giwa Egbe (Asoju Awujale in Egbe Obayori Okunrin Akile Ijebu "Kuye") and Otun-Giwa, Eta-Giwa and other executive members was elected for a 4 years term in office renewable.

PROFILE OF BABA EGBE OBAYORI OKUNRIN AKILE IJEBU "KUYE"!
HON. (BARR.) ADEMORIN ALIU KUYE.
Barrister Ademorin Aliu Kuye of Ijebu Ode, the son of Late Ishola Ganiyu Kuye of Gbelegbuwa Compound, Gboguja Ijebu Ode, and Late Princess Adetutu Idowu Kuye of Buraimoh Dada Family Of Olode Street, Ijebu Ode and the daughter of the HRH Oba James Doherty Idowu, past Moloda Of Odogbolu.
Barrister Ademorin Aliu Kuye was born in the early Sixties at Lagos Island in Lagos state where he attended Christ Church Cathedral School, Lagos. He had his Secondary School at Lagos.
Thereafter, he proceeded to Ibadan Grammar School, Ibadan, where he had his A'Levels. He proceeded to University Of Ife, now Obafemi Awolowo University in the eighties for his first degree in Law. He was called to the Bar some 30 years ago and holds a masters degree in Law.
Barrister Ademorin Aliu Kuye is an astute politician of high repute, a patriotic Nigerian and a gentleman par excellence, a team player and above all, a God fearing Nigerian. He was a former Council Chairman, Somolu Local Government, Lagos State, incidentally a council largely populated by Ijebus. He is also a former Commissioner For Local Governments and Chieftaincy Affairs in Lagos state, and he is also Special Adviser to Hon. Minister of Labour and Productivity Sen. Chris Ngige, on Arbitration.
Hon. Ademorin Kuye is presently representing the good people of Somolu Federal Constituency in the Federal House of Representatives, Abuja.
Hon. Ademorin Aliu Kuye is a Legal Practitioner, Property Developer and a Hotelier. He is married to Princess Olayemi Kassim Bashua, the daughter of the Oba of Somolu, HRM Oba Habib Kassim Bashua. He is blessed with four children. All doing well by God’s grace.

CHIEF (MRS) MOROUNKEJI ADUNNI ATOYEGBE (NEE SOGBEIN)!
Chief Mrs Morounkeji Adunni Atoyegbe (née Sogbein) a native of Abeokuta Ogun State, Nigeria. She was born into the family of Senator Samuel Olusanmi Sogbein and Princess Winifred Dademu Sogbein. She is the 3rd child of four from her parents.
She attended Baptist Primary School Oke-Saje, Abeokuta, Ogun state, Nigeria after which she proceeded to Saint Louis High School for her secondary school education, and from there proceeded to Ogun State College of Education (OSCE), now Tai-Solarin University Of Education, Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State where she studied Political Science/CRS.
Chief Mrs Morounkeji Adunni Atoyegbe (née Sogbein) is a well respected among her peers, generous, humble and diligent. She is a lovable personality of impeccable character. And, with the grace of God, she is happily married to Mr Kunle Atoyegbe of Ijebu Ode and the family is blessed with three lovely children.
Chief Mrs Morounkeji Adunni Atoyegbe (née Sogbein) is a fabric merchant and the proud CEO of "Glory Store Fabrics" located in Lagos state. She is widely travelled woman who has visited different places within and outside the country.

We will continue to observe and evolve our Code of Conduct. We will continue to grow our memberships globally through innovation and creativity.
★COLOUR BLUE: Colour Blue is associated with depth and stability. It symbolizes : trust, loyalty, wisdom & confidence. The blue was the strongest and most recognisable colour from our previous colour palette.
★ADE-OBA [Beaded Crown]: The Beaded Crown as the symbol of the royalty of the Awujale and the Paramount Ruler of Ijebu land,
★OPA ASE[Sceptre]: Symbolized royal or imperial power or authority; sovereignty of the Awujale and the paramount ruler of Ijebu land,
★IRUNKERE[Horse Tail Fly Whisk]: Its stand as symbols of blessings; and,

As we celebrate our 2nd Anniversary, the members of the Egbe Obayori Okunrin Akile Ijebu (Kuye) wish to acknowledge the success recorded in the so far.
(1) "2019 Ojude Oba Community Social Responsibility" (CSR): The Erection of Traffic Signs, zebra crossing at Etitale School, Ijebu Ode, Porogun School and the Baptist School in Ereko, Ijebu Ode with gigantic sign posts with our Egbe's name conspicuously inscribed on them.
(2) Life Insurance of All Members of Egbe
(3) Registration of Obayori Okunrin Akile Ijebu (Kuye) Foundation with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) as Non Governmental Organization (NGO), established for the purpose of assisting the needy as a means of given back to the society that produced us.
(4) Inauguration of Economic Summit Project Planning Committee. The proposed Economy summit will be centered on economic developmental plan for Ijebu land, with the "THEME: IJEBU ENTREPRENEURSHIP, BY EGBE OBAYORI OKUNRIN AKILE IJEBU "KUYE".
