The need for all progressives in the six states to rise up to the challenges and partner with our government following the successful launching of the southwest security summit by DAWN commission known as Operation Amotekun cannot be overemphasized.
It is pertinent to note that this is the dream of our forefathers coming to reality through unity.
This indeed is a good news that will make our great politicians of blessed memory, the likes of Pa Obafemi Awolowo to be happy whenever they are seeing the southwest states working together to prove solution to insecurity challenges.
The programme is designed to ensure we have a security that is free of threat, Our responsibility is to partner with the commission by us all to ensure it becomes hallmark success. We must explore how to build it on an enviable position to attract other states of the federation with a committed mind to build with the capacity of adequate security without rivalry with other government security agencies.
Our state governors in southwest deserves accolade and appreciation for thus wonderful initiative to work together to ensure lives and properties of their citizens are protected by ensuring a society that will be free from war.
