The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Kano Zonal office said it has arraigned one Fakunle Affis Rotimi before Justice Aisha Mahmoud of the State High Court on a two count charge bordering on Criminal Diversion of Fund.
The anti-graft agency made the disclosure on it official Twitter page on Monday.
According to EFCC in the statement, “It was alleged by the complainants that sometimes in May 2015, the suspect, Rotimi, who was then the MD, Kano State Glo Mobile Network, collected the sum of N20,797,950 from them on two instalments for Glo Mobile E-pin recharge cards but didn’t deliver the goods to them and all efforts made to recover their money proved abortive.”
