Copyright Infringement: Danny Young Sues Tiwa Savage & Mavin Records For N200M

Nigerian singer, Olumuyiwa Danladi known widely as Danny Young, has officially filed a law suit against Tiwa Savage and Mavin Records for copyright infringements.
In view of this, a Federal High court in Lagos has set November 5th for the hearing.
A Lagos Division of the Federal High Court has fixed November 5 for hearing in a suit filed by a Nigerian Musician, Olumuyiwa Danladi a.k.a Danny Young, against fellow music star, Tiwatope Savage, over alleged copyright infringement.
According to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), Danny Young is claiming N205 million in damages against Tiwa for allegedly using his property

, was released in 2018 as visual to the song was released the same year. The video has amassed over two million views on YouTube since its release.
Tiwa Savage is also no longer with Mavin Records but has since joined Universal Music Group (UMG).
Nevertheless, audio and video was released while Tiwa was under Don Jazzy’s music imprint.
