Hallelujah! 40 passengers narrowly escaped being burnt to death when a fully loaded luxurious bus conveying them burst into flames.
The incident happened on the Enugu-Onitsha highway, Anambra State.

According to reports gathered, the luxury bus which is owned by one of the transportation companies, The Young Shall Grow Motors, was shuttling passengers traveling from Enugu to Lagos.
A source who happened to be on the bus said, the fire was sparked off by one of the tyres that overheated and exploded when the bus driver had pulled over to check the luxurious bus at Igbariam Junction, Anambra. The overheated tyre blew, emitting flames that consumed the bus.
The 40 passengers on board were quick enough to abscond from the bus with their luggage before the fire started.

The FRSC and other drivers made some efforts to put out the fire but to no avail, as the bus was completely destroyed. While the fire was engulfing the bus, other motorists scampered for safety.
