There have been an outcry after a man hawking suya a popular street food on one of the busiest road in Lagos was caught using one of the suya sticks to scratch his back. A lot of social media users expressed shock and displeasure over the unhealthy hygienic habit of street hawkers selling edibles.
According to the video shared by Tunde Ednut, the man was seen using the stick of the suya to scratch his back while talking to his colleagues on the road. Watch the video below:

It was also gathered that the Man is fond of doing such thing and this wasn’t the first time, he has been caught using a stick to scratch his back while selling the same suya to people. See reactions below;
Reacting to the video, tola wrote; ”Eating aboki suya is the easiest way to catch typhoid fever. I have not eaten suya in many years because I have not seen where clean suyas are prepared other than mallams’ on the road sides.”
Brownjay wrote; Anybody that thinks that any suya bought in the street is made in accordance with health and safety guidelines…. is clearly out of their goddamn mind, and best wake up quick.
We should watch what we buy and eat outside especially along the road.
