RECAP | Strike Looming, Another Woman Accuse COZA Pastor, Will Lampard Succeed At Chelsea?

The newly elected Nigerian Senate is already at work persuading the Nigeria Labour Congress to suspend their upcoming nationwide strike which is to protest against the delay in the implementation of agreed N30, 000 minimum wage for civil servants.

At the Red Chamber, Lawan said, “We should not encourage personal issue to overshadow our collective responsibility to nation-building,"

“We will journey with you to ensure absolute implementation of the minimum wage by the Federal government.”

Barely a week after Busola Dakolo accused Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo of COZA of rape, another lady has come forward with molestation accusations.

The ex-COZA church member gave a detailed recount of her experience with the man of God to media personality Chude Jideonwo.

Like Busola Dakolo, the man of God allegedly also forcefully had his way with a member who held him in high esteem.

Since the news broke, several female members of the church have come forward with individual claims of their harrowing experiences with the man of God.

This is obviously not far-fetched from the fact that Busola’s courage to speak her truth served as a strong motivation for other women who have suffered abuse to speak up.

In other news, Frank Lampard has been named the new Blues Manager.

The Former Chelsea Midfielder signed a three-year contract to replace Maurizio Sarri at Stamford Bridge.

Lampard’s assistant at Derby, former Chelsea midfielder Jody Morris, and first-team coach Chris Jones also return to Stamford Bridge, with the Championship club confirming “an undisclosed compensation package has been agreed” for the trio.

New Chelsea manager Frank Lampard told the club’s official website: “I am immensely proud to be returning to Chelsea as head coach.

“Everyone knows my love for this club and the history we have shared,

This is not in doubt as Frank Lampard who is one of the greatest and most-decorated in the club’s history."

However, Lampard is the 14th manager to take the reins at Stamford Bridge since the Russian oligarch’s arrival back in 2003. Many are wary the English will not last as his predecessors.

One person who is rooting for him is his former teammate for 14 years, John Terry who insists there is "no one better equipped" to take over at Chelsea than Frank Lampard.

He also believes the timing is perfect for him to return to the club.

Terry, who played alongside Lampard at Chelsea for 14 years, believes Blues fans will have no hesitation in welcoming him back to west London, despite having just one full season in management, and says he will be just as demanding on himself as owner Roman Abramovich.

We are very aware that Roman Abrahimovic is a demanding businessman who has a penchant for sacking people. Do you think Lampard will succeed?
