President Muhammadu Buhari has absolved Fulani Herdsmen of being responsible for the killing of Mrs. Funke Olakunrin, daughter of Afenifere leader, Pa Reuben Fasoranti.
Yinka Odumakin had confirmed to the media, on an eyewitness account, that Fulani herdsmen were responsible for the Killing of Mrs. Olakunrin.
According to him, Fulani herdsmen had emerged from the bush, on her way to Ore and When started shooting at her car. She died through injury sustained from the shooting.
But reacting, President Muhammadu Buhari, through his special assistant on media, Femi Adesina, condoled with Afenifere leader, Pa Reuben Fasoranti, while absolving herdsmen of any involvement.
According to the president, those “described as armed robbers by Ondo Police Command” carried out the attack.
