Imo State Governor Rochas Okorocha has admonished his successor, Emeka Ihedioha, over the latter’s warning to banks not to engage in last-minute financial deals.
Okorocha, in a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Sam Onwuemeodo, reminded Ihedioha that he is still the governor of the state and that government activities must function till the last day.
The statement said, “Chief Emeka Ihedioha who was declared winner of the governorship election in the state by Prof. Francis Ezeonu-led INEC in Owerri does not have the right or locus yet, to harass or give directives to the financial Institutions in the state over their dealings with the state government.”
