.....Gives Ajimobi, 24-hours to reinstate suspended LAUTECH SUG
The national association of Nigerian Students NANS has congratulates the governor elect in Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun in the Saturday 9th March election today.
According to the Public relations officer of the association, Comrade Adeyemi Amoo Azeez in a press conference in Abeokuta, he said the joy of Gateway people on the victory of Dapo Abiodun as governor elect cannot be over emphasized. While thanking God for giving Ogun State a visionary leader that will take the people to the promise land.
"The battle was rough, the road was undulating, the incumbent governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun intimidated many, denied many of the enabling environment but Nigerian students were resolute and resilient to deliver the students community to Prince Dapo Abiodun, the governor elect of Ogun State. "
"Now, Ogun people can sleep with eyes closed as we look forward to having a better Ogun State that we all dream of said Adeyemi."
Also, he salute the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC for not playing to the gallery of Governor Ibikunle Amosun's adopted party ( Allied People's Movement APM) in the state.
"The election that produced the governor elect of Ogun State was not just free and fair but satisfactory said Adeyemi Azeez. "
He salutes the braveness of all the security agencies with their unrelenting efforts, for touch lightning every angle of the state to ensure the safety of life and properties of people of Ogun State.
As he congratulates the governor elect, he restate assurance that he will deliver to the people bases on his manifesto because he has been tested, trusted and with God's help he won't fail the people.
Adeyemi, call on the governor elect to quickly set up a committee to monitor every transaction of the incumbent governor, check the state treasury to ensure that Governor Amosun did not further drain the treasury.
He make a statement of demand from the governor elect in Oyo state, Engineer Seyi Makinde to ensure the student union president of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology LAUTECH is reinstated and compensated for embarrassment netted in him and his integrity, that was sent out of class (office).
He said if the demand is not met within 24 hours, NANS is going to stage a comprehensive protest as injustice to one is injustice to all.
