Exit of Adesanya, A Personal Loss - Amosun

Ogun State governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun, has expressed profound shock and disbelief at the news of the death of Prince Adeniyi Adesanya in a ghastly auto accident.

Adeniyi Adesanya was until his death on Friday evening  a Consultant to the Ogun State governor.

In a statement signed by his Special Adviser on Information & Strategy, Rotimi Durojaiye, the governor described "Adesanya's exit in the prime of life" as insupportable.

"I deeply mourn the sudden passage of Niyi Adesanya. He was a true friend; a dependable ally and comrade in my political struggles. This is a personal loss to me," Amosun said.

According to the governor, "Adesanya distinguished himself as a top government functionary. His commitment to the development of Ogun State was exemplary."

Amosun prayed for the repose of his soul and that God would grant his family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.

The governor equally thanked God for the Secretary to the State Government, Barr Taiwo Adeoluwa and his driver, Mr Kehinde Akinade, who were  involved in the accident and wished them speedy recovery.
