Ex-Ogun Governor's Son Wins House Of Reps Seat


Ex-ogun governor son, Olumide Osoba

Olumide Osoba, son of former governor of Ogun state, has won the House of Representatives seat for Abeokuta North/Odeda/Obafemi-Owode federal constituency.

Olumide Osoba, the son of former governor of Ogun state, Chief Olusegun Osoba contested under All Progressives Congress.

Olumide defeated the candidate of the Allied Peoples Movement, Micky Kazzim, a serving member of House of Representatives with 33, 538 votes.

We gathered that Kazzim polled 14, 903 votes to come second while candidate of Peoples Democratic Party came third with 14,313 votes.

However, one of the daughters of MKO Abiola , Rinsola finished in fourth place with 10,834 votes.

Rinsola contested under Action Democratic Party.

The Returning Officer of the election, Prof. Ismaila Salami, declared the results at the collation centre at Unity high school, Ago-Ika, Abeokuta.
