Election Postponement: NANS Gives INEC 48-Hours To Address Nigerians


INEC Chairman To Assure Nigerians Of Free, Fair and Credible Poll....

Abeokuta- Subsequent to the postponement of the February 16th general election, The leadership of National Association of Nigerian Students NANS has given the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC forty eight hours to address the nation, to assure Nigerians of  "Free, Fair and Credible" election.

According to Comrade Adeyemi Amoo Azeez, the public relations officer of the the association, while addressing the press today " I must say here, after going through all information in the public domain about the postponement of the Presidential, National Assembly elections, we have obviously seen that there is hand of Esau and voice of Jacob in the hullabaloo. Said Adeyemi"

He said we need to quickly remind President Muhammadu Buhari, that INEC is handicap without his support and if he choose to allow the cabal to sleep well in their comfort room, it simply means his personal integrity and his government is going to be dented.
Also, he observed that Mamud Yakubu, INEC chairman is left in the domain of many dependent advises against the autonomy of the commission, "We know you know them, you are not happy with them, we advise you to fish them out and caution them, they are in your party and other party(s) Adeyemi Added."

NANS Position:

Presidency should throw weight in INEC, to give free, fair and credible poll.
The vertebrate of cabals should be legally broken.
NANS is giving INEC another forty eight hours to give Nigerians assurances of free and fair elections, or else we will expose them to the world.
All bad elements in NANS will be reported to the law enforcement authorities for prosecution.
NANS is ready to X-ray to the world if any attempt, attempted by anyone to frustrate the unity of our dear country.
However, he informed the malicious, criminals shooting from the umbrella of NANS, that they must go and return the money they collected from Nigerian politicians, we disown them today, they are not our members, they are thieves, and enemies if students community.

Finally, he informed the well meaning and conscious Nigerian students and Nigerians to keep calm, remain focused, not to be disappointed about the postponed day of the protest and also trust in our goal to build better Nigeria we all clamoured to have.
