WHAT!! Late Osun Chief’s Family Makes His Corpse Stand Upright, Pose With Him [Photos]

A late Osun chief’s family did something unconventional, recently, before he was finally laid to rest in Osun State. The family of the late Emiile of Imesi Ile, Chief Michael Olabamiji Fakeye dressed his corpse in his chieftaincy attire and made him to stand upright, before many family members were asked to pose with him for pictures. The step was taken because his children realized that they had no personal pictures with him while alive.

The move has received a lot of mixed reactions on social media as some people didn’t find it funny. See how Nigerians reacted below:

One said: “They will be taking pictures until, he will put his hand on ones shoulder with a peace ✌️ sign… then they will know he is serious”.

Another said: “Somebody cannot die and Rest In Peace in this country again”

Another also said: “Honestly, me I will not take ooh, if I was from that family. I fear dead people like they are coming for me. No matter how close we were.”

It would be recalled that in what will come across as a shocking development, a dead man has been spotted sitting on a throne like a king during his own funeral. Photos have shown how a man was made to attend his own funeral sitting on a ‘throne’. The man was dressed neatly and made to sit on a ‘throne’ at the funeral, looking like a king about to address his subjects.

The photos were shared on Facebook by his girlfriend. “Baby daddy sitting up like tha king he is. Love ya baby” she captioned her post. In the photos, the man identified as Quincy Don Papa P, is seen dressed in a red attire with a crown placed on his head. The ceremony which held inTexas, USA, saw his family and friends in attendance. Another Facebook user, Nafi Ali, shared photos from the event but had a different mindset. According to him, if he goes to a funeral and the dead person is not in a casket, he’s leaving the ceremony.

The pictures have since gone viral online. See more photos below:
