The rate at which young people get themselves in crime activities nowadays is becoming alarming to the extent of now stealing from churches. people get involve in these acys due to poverty, peer pressure, harsh economic condition in the country while some do that out of greed.
A thief was nabbed red handed after stealing from a church in Bayelsa state.The young man simply identified as Junior who hails from Okrika in Rivers State – was nabbed by men of the Bayelsa State Vigilante Service. He was arrested around 5.00 am today for burglary and stealing equipment from a church opposite Fidelity bank in Isaac Boro expressway Amarata, #Yenagoa, the state capital. The suspect has been handed over to the police for prosecution.
In a similar way, it gathered that a thief who broke into a church in Agudama Epie, Bayelsa state sometime ago was also apprehended and punished after he tried to steal a keyboard. There’s a popular saying that says ‘everyday is for the thief and one day is for the owner of the house’. Such was the case of this thief who was caught after breaking into a church in Agudama, Epie in Bayelsa state, where he had gone to steal a keyboard. According to the Facebook user who shared the story, the thief was stripped, paraded, flogged in public and also fined N10,000 as punishment.
