In a statement jointly signed by IDRIS SALAMI CHAIRMAN and GBEMISOLA ADENEKAN SECRETARY, After monitoring with keen interests,the activities of Governor Ibikunle Amosun on the autocratic style of imposing aspirants across.

It is with utmost dismay that we bring to the notice of the general public, most especially the good people of abeokuta north constituency, the undemocratic, anti-poor, anti-masses, autocratic, unGodly and selfish acts of the Governor Amosun by compelling the Executive body of APC in abeokuta North, not to accept the expression of interest form of Hon Oludotun Taiwo (TWINNY).
Hon Oludotun Taiwo, is a known friend of the masses with large hearth. He has raised hopes of many people of Ogun State known and unknown to him. He is a man that is generally accepted and loved by the populace.
As much as we won't support threat or imposition of candidates for any reason(s),we hereby call on all major stakeholders concerned, that are fearless of Amosun and have not compromised to call Governor Amosun to order, if truly he loves the party and sees the party been above him.
A level play ground should be given to all aspirants to go for the direct primaries, rather than this obvious abuse of power and executive recklessness by Gov Amosun.
It is on this singular note, that we unequivocally state that any attempted attempt by Gov Amosun to deprive the people of Abk North the internal democracy within APC,we shall fight this to a stand still in the party.
