Some All Progressive Congress APC members in Ogun State have raised a security alert of plans to kidnap of the opposition against Governor Ibukunle Amosun in the run up to the party governorship primary.
The members is a message being sent on WhatsApp alleged that the Governor was using calls for settlement to some who are opposed to him to lure them in other for them to be kidnapped.
They therefore warned them against attending any meeting with the governor to avoid being trapped
"It has come to our notice that Governor Amosun is presently calling some aggrieved members of the party to settle with them. Please, if you receive any call from him or his loyalists for settlement, don't attend any meeting with them because their plan is to kidnap you till the governorship primary election will be over tomorrow so that you won't participate in the exercise.
"We are also aware of their deployment of thugs to all wards tomorrow. On this note, we are using this medium to urge all members of the party to allay their fears because security personnel will be fully on ground to protect everybody and arrest anyone who tries to disrupt the exercise tomorrow.
"Finally, we urge all our members to come out tomorrow and mobilize with full force to vote for the right aspirant for the sake of our dear state as maximum security is guaranteed"
