It was an unforgettable moments for six members of the Vigilante Group of Nigeria when the Assistant Commander General of the Group, Enitan Emmanuel gave unexpected promotion to six of its staff.
The event which was held the Command office at Asero Housing Estate area of Abeokuta today was full of all the group leaders across the state.
Those elevated were: Role S. Adewale, Group Commander, Admin; Oluwole John, Deputy Commander, Admin; Adeniji Sunday, Assistant Commander, Finance.
Others are: Adelaja Yaya, Bello Hammed, Eleshin Ganiyu and Conquerors Esther who were all assistant commander, southwest II Zonal.
Speaking during the short lecture delivered to the group members, Enitan stated that it is very important for the members to note that their mode of dressing plays vital role to how people addressed them.
He said “You will be addressed the way you dress. I want to urge you to always dress proper so that people can know and see you as responsible person every time and anywhere.
“More so, you must also know that membership drive is one of the things that give publicity and promotes any organization or groups like VGN. Please work on membership drive in the areas you are been posted to.
“Be friendly and familiar with people in the area where you are working. Don’t always frown face to the extent that people won’t be able to relate and deliberate issues with you. Move closer to the elders like Baales (Chiefs), Community leaders and let them recognize you. Develop new ideas and let them know your plans for the safety of the people.” He concluded.
