Towards attaining a smooth governorship primary election come Friday 20th July, 2018, ACCORD delegate members as specified by the party constitution were screened and congressed in Osogbo today.
The exercise began at early hours of the day by thorough screening of members at the party Secretariat. Immediately after the screening, all the Congress delegates, party executives, observers, law enforcement agencies, gentlemen of the the press reconverged at the scheduled venue, Sazo Hotels along Gbogan/Ibadan Road, Osogbo.
Today, ACCORD members clearly justified another sterling reason why Osun people are decamping in torrent into the party as the event went on smooth without a modicum of crisis.
The chairman of the party, Otunba Fanibe in his characteristic manner praise song the Alpha and Omega at the commencement of the congress.
The whole exercise came to a halt immediately after some discrepancies were resolved. Every member dispersed happily.
