Two students launched an assault in a Gestapo style on a commercial driver conveying them from Ado-Ekiti state capital to Oye-Ekiti after refusing to pay agreed price to the driver
The Students "Simon Olatunji who claimed to be Pre degree student of federal university Oye Ekiti and Oladimeji from College of Education Ikere - Ekiti" were alleged to be in possession of dangerous weapons ( Axe , Small knife ) in their separate hand bags after an illegal assault on the driver who demanded for his balance on conveying the students to their bus-stop but refused to yield to the drivers demands rather posed a threat to him instead by stylishly brandishing a small knife to him which caught the attentions of passersby at the scene
Hence, they were apprehended and brutalized by the angry mob in series of manhandling and later taken to the King's palace for proper interrogation before being handed over to the Police to prevent jungle jungle and restore and order in the community
