The commissioner of Police, CP Ilyasu Ahmed has rallied round the Abeokuta city to sympathize with the recent flooding victim at the state capital of Ogun State.
The people's CP was accompanied by the OC SARS Mohammed Uba and Area commander Egba zone of the Nigerian Police Force among other officers.
According to the commissioner;
"we are assures the residents of maximum security of lives and properties, and the government is aware of your plights and necessary measures is going to be taken to restore peace" said Ilyasu Ahmed.
He visited Ago Ijesha, Ijeun Titun and Iyana Mortuary areas of Abeokuta where the uncontrollable flooding viped away houses, shops leaving over seven people dead in the horrible incident.
