15th Are ona kakanfo: Gani Adams officially installed by Alaafin of Oyo

The Newly installed 15th Are ona kakanfo of Yorubaland, Gani Adams has promised to unite the race irrespective of Party leanings. 

The Oodua Peoples Congress leader who was installed by the Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi says he will be more committed to the interests of the southwest people 

At a well attended traditional rites, the New Yoruba Generallisimo also promised to give scholarships regularly to indigent students as part of his philanthropic duty.

Speaking earlier, the chairman of the planning committee, Archbishop Ayo Ladigbolu outlined the responsibilities of the Are ona kakanfo to include settling disputes among communities, uniting different interests among others
