Former member of House of Representatives , Honourable Rotimi Makinde , has described the years of reign of the late Oba James Adedokun Adegoke, The Apetumodu of Ipetumodu in Ife North Local Government Area of Osun State as remarkable and memorable in the history of Osun.
Makinde who spoke during a visit to Ipetumodu palace in Ife on Saturday to condole with the wife of the monarch, the family and the Ife North council of chiefs, saying his greatest joy was that the late Oba James Adegoke was not sick to a level where they had to be carrying him up and down before passing away.
Makinde who was accompanied by some Osun State bigwig who sympathize and prayed for the wife and the family of the monarch and appreciated God for the periods on the throne. He described his death as a great loss,but God knows best. Makinde said despite the great loss, the monarch will be remembered and ife people will encouraged by the legacy he left behind.
