Our party attention has been drawn to Gov Ibikunle Amosun executive recklessness, impunity and rascality in the way the Governor conducted a military style of Governance to quench a peaceful demonstration against injustice by the Student of Moshood Abiola polythecnic Abeokuta.

State Chairman Labour party, The Ogun State Government through the Secretary to the state Government issued directives to the Nigerian Police to open fire against un armed student who are protesting against the Government t inability to allow them write the second semester examination and other vices perpetrated against the ordinary student of the institution.
There is therefore an urgent need for the President Buhari lead Federal Government to investigate and prosecute, if necessary, the Executive Governor of Ogun State, Senator Ibikunle Amosun, as there has been an unimaginable scale of Maladjustment, Madness, Impunity, Harassment, Detention of Innocent and Peaceful Students protesting in the Area of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Ogun State, over the closure of the school for Three Months, this problem occurred when Gov Amosun took the decision of creating Ogun Poly in Ipokia and upgrading Moshood Abiola Polytechnic to Moshood Abiola University of Technology.
We are everyday dazed by the unrepentant harassment and detention of the peaceful agitating students who came out in numbers to show their grievances over the closure of the school which has since truncated the educational programs of the school.
It's note worthy that the generality of the affected students will have to stay for another one year incurring unnecessary expenses even when their parents are been owed between 18 and 16 months co operative deductions,86 months contributory pensions, 36 months leave bonus, non promotions of workers for the past 3 years, non payment of gratuity since April 2012. We therefore wondered where the Governor expect the student to fend for themselves when His administration was the cause of all the student untold hardship.
It is alarming and of a questionable character that the men of the Nigerian police force under the directives of the Governor Amosun SSG who himself been a Lawyer not only order the Police to shoot at sight but superintendent the illegal and justapo arrest of over 20 students and make necessary moves to charge them to magistrate court, We are baffled by the conscientious display of disgraceful act and how shamelessly men of the Nigerian police has sold their conscience and have publicly insulted the intelligence of citizens meant to be protected, ridiculing and dragging the integrity of the organization to the mud by handpicking innocent, peaceful students and even to the extent of dragging them to court.
Worst still, the Impunity driven clueless and arrogant Secretary to the State Government Bar Taiwo Adeoluwa out of executive rascility and penchant for destruction of lives and properties ypreferred through the police a case of Attempted murdered against the harmless student before a magistrate court 1 presided over by Magistrate Adeola Adelaja sitting in Isabo, Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital. The Magistrate rejected the attempted murder charge brought against the 20 students of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta.
The students were arrested on the order of SSG for taking part in a protest tagged #BlackWeek over the continuous hostility between the Ogun State Government and the Academic Staff Union of Polytechnics, MAPOLY chapter. What Gov Amosun, a father and his military compatriot Secretary to the State Govt want to achieved with this frivolous charges against some children of other poor Father and mother remain a misery .
It's however a shame that the Magistrate has to informed the police prosecutor that the suit was not properly instituted and that the duplicate of the case file after properly filled be made available to the court
We now asked Gov Amosun and his incompetence Administration to explain who the student attempted to murder?
Importantly, the Federal Government under President Muhammad Buhari must quickly look into the allegation of Detaining students who are tired of staying at home, students who are also tired of been played politically by both the Lecturers and the State Government.
Ogun State people have lost total confidence in the APC led Administration of Gov Amosun as a result of the ineptitude and cluelessness of its leadership.
What will one say concerning the case of the devastating detention, harassment and charging to court of 20 innocent and peaceful students and who reportedly said they will be charged to court having no one to defend and speak for them, This act is ungodly, inhumane, barbaric and evil.
It is pathetic and quite disheartening that the Governor Ibikunle Amosun has degenerated in its value and ethics.
It should be noted that this disgraceful act that has befallen this institution is a disastrous event of great negative significance that needs to be addressed with immediate alacrity as it tends to pose a great danger to the well-being of our nation and serve as a clog in the wheel of the development of this institution.
It is visibly seen that the administration of Governor Ibikunle Amosun has involved itself in many moves which has been only to cripple the educational system in Ogun State and has battered the already dying educational reputation of the State.
This administration has proven itself with their scrupulous acts to be of doubtful integrity and it would be unsafe for this present government whose major agenda is to fight corruption to keep such man of doubtful integrity to be in charge of the State Affairs charged with the responsibility of helping the government make life easier, better and comfortable for the indigenes and residents of Ogun State.
In view of this, it is important that all well meaning Nigerians should rise up and call for the immediate investigation of the Ogun State Government under Senator Ibikunle Amosun on the Closure of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, the Arrested Students, and the Proposed move to charge them to court.
Ogun state labour patty hereby implore President Buhari to invoke section 305 sub section 1and 2 to issues a proclamation of a state of emergency , and tranmit copies of the official gazette to the president of the Senate and Speaker house of Representatives.
This call for state of emergency became necessary because there is actual break down of public order and public safety and also Governor Amosun has declared WAR against the citizen and his excesses must be curb to save the Dying lives of our precious and determined students.
