Treasure House of God, Quarry, Abeokuta, Ogun State will be feeding multitude of people from far and near during this Christmas .
A statement in Abeokuta today by Mr. Adeniyi Adeloye, the Media Consultant to the General Overseer of the church, Pastor Seye Senfuye indicated that the project which has been a yearly event was usually held in low key "but this year the church has decided to scale it up to be able to accommodate multitude of people as the state of things demands".
Adeloye added that the desire of the General Overseer of the church was also to give a hand to the needy members of the Nigerian Nation.
He stated that it has been the joy of Pastor Senfuye to touch the lives of other people, explaining that it was a way of showing gratitude to God for His benevolence.
Adeloye said the General overseer's unwavering belief was that the church is part of the Nigerian society and whatever affects the church affects the society, saying "so the church is extending this’s year feeding arrangements to take care of many more people than ever before".
He stressed that the gesture was not politically motivated but purely humanitarian.
"Additionally, the General Overseer of the church is following the footsteps of his father, Jesus who, by Biblical account fed the multitude. Unequivocally that it is not political but purely humanitarian gesture, describing Pastor Senfuye as a man who is also concerned about the plight of other people; he is really a man with a Heart of gold. He is indeed a cheerful giver," he concluded.
