News emanating Amebo Feeds Naija Blogs from ife confirmed the latest gist on the case between Mr Kayode Aworinde and Hon Rotimi Makinde on the case of 50 million Naira which was allegedly to have been borrowed by Aworinde from Makinde.
Meanwhile, the case was more of denial,mistrust and fraudulent allegations which teared the former two lover birds apart. You will recalled that we reported this case sometimes ago which started in a magistrate court in Osogbo, which was initiated by Mr Kayode Aworinde himself before magistrate Aluko,the case was eventually dismissed and subsequently,a fresh charges was filed at the high Court of ife by Hon Rotimi Makinde. Before then , effort by the Ooni of ife in council was thwarted by Mr Aworinde also known as Agbaakin who refused to honour several invitations from the palace and from Prince Adedoyin, Maye of Ife.
However, The delay in our judicial system coupled with series of frivolous adjournments,excuses and legal loopholes prolonged the case till now even as the plaintiff Hon Rotimi Makinde had been cross examined, several wittnesses were called and were made to establish facts of the matter which includes banks. It is naturally for the public and Ife kingdom to developed interest on this matter between their two illustrious son.
The latest development is that a fresh invitation was sent to both parties by the Ooni in council, which the appointment day was only yesterday 20th of November 2017 but in his usual characteristic the man Aworinde still refused to honour the Ooni in council led by Obalufe of Ife,Obaloran of ife,Loowa of ife and the five Iyalodes that make up ile ife ,the cradle of Yoruba race..
