PDP Chieftain backs Igbuya, calls Itua, others pathological liars

A political heavy weight in Sapele, Mr. John Akpotor, on Thursday hit back at Mr. Frank Abiodun Itua, refuting the claim by an online media captioned “Impeached Delta Speaker Former Aide”.

He described the story as utter falsehood from the pit of hell aimed at tarnishing the image of Rt. Hon. Monday Igbuya and lowering his respected image in the estimation of right thinking members of the public.

In a statement in Sapele, Akpotor described Frank Abiodun Itua as a pathological liar.

“Frank Abiodun Itua is desperately shopping for attention by using his falsehood as a publicity stunt for his sponsors and co-travelers in his attempt to seek relevance in their power play”.

He said it was unfortunate and embarrassing that Itua had embarked on cheap blackmail.

Seeing the attack on Igbuya as a deliberate ploy to rubbish the member representing Sapele State Constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly before the people, Akpotor described Itua as a desperate, confused and inordinate ambitious person who has no respect for elders and completely devoid of appreciation, a character flaw that has led him to this nonsense.

“His appointment as aide to Igbuya was purely on humanitarian grounds. Why did he not tell the reporters that he has been on a #100,000.00 monthly stipends from Chief Igbuya for doing nothing since 2015 till the date his appointment ended?

“If he is not up to mischief, why did he deliberately fail to mention that the money is paid to him in Lagos in the comfort of his home, for doing nothing and without being an aide or a domestic staff to Rt. Hon Igbuya? He is a complete ingrate" he said.

Akpotor stated that Chief Igbuya was not in receipt of any EFCC's invitation as wrongly speculated.

" The story itself is nauseating, Rt. Hon Igbuya is not a bank or a finance house that keeps money or values for a buffoon adult to finance his future projects or ambition” he said.

He urged all right thinking citizens to disregard the story.

“Rt. Hon Monday Igbuya will be very pleased to honour the invitation If the claim by Frank Abiodun Itua is correct” he added.
