The Management of National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has commended the Founder, Paseda Legacy Foundation, Otunba Rotimi Paseda, for his philanthropic gesture towards providing good welfare package for Corps Members serving with his Foundation.
The Ogun State NYSC Coordinator, Mr. Okpo John Ajuro, gave this commendation on Friday during a send-off party organized in honour of Batch B Stream I Corps Members serving with Paseda Legacy Foundation in Abeokuta.
Mr. Okpo, who was represented by the Assistant Director, Corps Inspection and Monitoring, Mr. Mayomi Sylvester emphasized that the Foundation's laudable welfare incentives for the Corps members serving with the Organization was unquantifiable, compared with other Place of Primary Assignment in the State.
He said the State Secretariat was impressed with the humanitarian gesture of the Foundation to both Corps members and NYSC officials in the State.
The NYSC boss therefore congratulated the outgoing Corps members, for satisfactorily serving their fatherland with total commitment, urging them to replicate the good work in their future endeavours.
"What we are witnessing today is a reward of hardwork. This is the first time in my four years of posting to Ogun State, that a PPA will invite the State NYSC Coordinator to a colourful send-off party for our Corps members. This is indeed a testimony of your good human/managerial relationship with workers".
"Otunba Paseda has demonstrated his leadership skills and love for quality education, but we want to urge him to extend this gesture to our Corps members in Abeokuta, to motivate others".
While speaking, Otunba Rotimi Paseda noted that the National Youth Service Scheme has promoted national integration and fostered oneness and unity among Nigerian youths.
