The youth body under the auspices of Congress of Nigerian Yoruba Youths has pass vote of no confidence on Honourable Bowale Solaja, a member of house of Assembly representing Ijebu North constituency I. In a press statement jointly signed by Ambassador Ololade Paul
Southwest Coordinator and Ambassador Fayose Taiwo the Ogun State Coordinator accused the honourable for neglecting his constituents.
"It is been said "in an unjust society silence is a crime" A crime which was agreed and perpetuated by been natural"said Fayose
However we have resolved to be proactive in our discharge and contributions towards a better society as "history will not forget the man that upgrades the standard of a village to city, and that man that demotes the standards, strength or consciously contributed to the setback of a city to village. Posterity stands to judge them all!
It's on this note the entire executives and members of Congress Of Nigeria Youths (CONYO), Ogun State Chapter after much prolonged patience and the expiration of our patience, the deliberate neglect and ignoring of our hand of friendship hereby pass a vote of no confidence on Hon. Solaja Bowale Olayinka as the Honourable Member of the Ogun State House of Assembly Representing Ijebu-North1, Ogun State.
It's not new to us that Hon. Bowale Solaja is a political opportunist that has fail to make use of the rare opportunity to record landmark achievements, Hon. Solaja has not in any way serve as a sources of inspiration to the youths, students and the good people of Ijebu North constituency 1, Hon Solaja a two term member of Ogun State House of Assembly who can not in anyway point to a meaningful constituency project like other members of the house who had and has constantly given back to their respective community/constituency, we have Hon. Yinka Mafe of Sagamu Constituency who has introduce the free shuttle bus for both the primary and secondary school student of his constituency, we have Hon. Dare Kadri of Ago-Iwoye who has upgraded the Ago Iwoye market to an Ultra Modern Market amidst some other meaningful projects, executed by different honorable members of the house. We have on record the meaningful achievements of Hon. Adebiyi Adeleye of Remo North state constituency towards the community building and youth Empowerment.
Hon. Solaja is known and been labelled with the "use and dump" manstral. This may not subsequently give youth the opportunity to hold any political office as we are no more leaders of tomorrow rather leaders of today and partners in progress for a better and a new Nigeria.
On this note the leadership of this organization wishes to call on the amiable state Chairman and leaders of the People's Democratic Party which Hon. Solaja belongs to, to adviceably call him to order not to dent the image and shatter the chances of the party as we won't fail to address the press to compel all youths to shun any political party that gives Hon Solaja mandate to contest if the needful is not done in Ernest said Fayose.
