The former lawmaker in Osun State, Honourable Rotimi Makinde in his usual bids in moulding his people both financially and morally has changed the face of an old church by rebuilding it to a modern standard for his constituent in fulfilment of his promise to resuscitate the shape of the worship center.
Meanwhile, the former member of house of Representatives Ife constituency is a practicing muslim but always extend his love to his people irrespective of religion and tribe to his grassroots. The church was commissioned according to our correspondent by the deputy governor of Osun State Otunba (Mrs.) Grace Titilayo Laoye- Tomori accompanied by APC stalwarts.
According him:
"I am a practicing Muslim yet I fulfilled a covenant I had with my God to rebuild a church. It was perpetual disfigurement to remembered the day the enemies came after my life, which was a day to my election where five innocent people were brutally murdered on the altar of a church. I wept and wept on that day, and i was so moved to promised to rebuild the church. Here it is with two bedrooms flats for the widow of the late pastor who was equally killed. Today is my covenant anniversary. May Almighty God rebuild my life,settle all my fans,friends and case from this moment." Makinde said
