APC Nat Chairman Sympathises With Flood victims


The National Chairman of the All Progressive Congress (APC) Chief John Odigie Oyegun was in the state to sympathise with affected flood victims and promised to mobilize all APC states in contributing to the welfare of those affected.

Represented by Engr Segun Oni, the National chairman said the first batch of relief materials will arrive the state soon.

While receiving him at the IDP camp Deputy governor of Benue State who is the Chairman Benue State Emergency Relief Committee stated that the IDP camp has been in existence for a week and there is no intention of closing it as the rain is still coming.
Already he said the camp is housing 4755 displaced persons.

Earlier today at the camp the Deputy Governor received the Senior Pastor Dunamis International Gospel Center, Pst Paul Enenche who came to sympathised with the flood victims and donated a truck load of relief materials comprising of mattresses and food items.

Also CGC Nigeria limited donated a truck load of relief materials comprising of bed nets blankets, bags of rice.
