AN OPEN LETTER TO GOVERNOR ABUBAKAR BADARU
OF JIGAWA STATE
His Excellency
Alh. Badaru Abubakar,

Jigawa State, Dutse.
Your Excellency sir,
There is a saying that “the world will not be destroyed by those who do evil, but by those who sit back and watch without taking action”.
The Leadership National Association of Nigeria Students Zone "A" 2017 Zonal Convention Planning Committee is compelled to write this open letter to you for a number of obvious reasons, especially as at concern the unbecoming behaviour of your SSA on Students Matters Ibrahim G. Ibrahim(Babalolo) at the just concluded election of NANS Zone “A” held at Abdulsalam Abubakar Youth Centre Minna, Niger State.
Sir, let me state without any iota of equivocation that; you are a total disgrace to the good people of Jigawa state and Nigeria Students as a whole. With the recent show of arrogance and thuggery displayed by your SSA on student, Ibrahim G. Ibrahim (Babalolo) at the just concluded 24th Zonal convention of NANS ZONE A. there is no doubt the kind of leader under whose style of leadership he has been groomed, not only is he an arrogant thug, but also a threat to National security and peaceful co-existence of the entire Nigerian students.
Mr. Governor, to set the record straight, I want you to know that contrary to what you must have been told, Comrade Usman Ayuba did not emerges as the winner to the office of the coordinator of NANS Zone A, for based on records he only had 30 votes while Comrade Umar Faruk of IBB University emerges victorious with 40 votes. Usman Ayuba congratulates and embraced Comrade Umar Faruk after he was officially declared the winner as Coordinator of NANS Zone “A”, a sportsmanship behavior expected from a cultured breed.
What seems most astonishing of the of behaviour of your SSA was the open disbursement of money to woe SUGs and stakeholders alike to support his puppet on the alleged claim that; he has your mandate to deliver at all cost Usman Ayuba who according to imformation later available to us is alleged not be a students in Jigawa state Poly Dutse he is claiming.
It may also interest you to note that; Ibrahim G. Ibrahim (Babalolo) led an army of thugs wielding various form of weapons vandalizing and bringing down all standing on his way destroying chairs, table, and the entire glasses of the youth centre in Minna, on the claim that he was betrayed by the people he paid to vote his candidate, an attitude unbecoming of a responsible government representative.
This breach of peace and breakdown of law and order lasted for over 3 hours unchallenged, until Comr. Gambo Mohammed confronted him to stop further destruction as he led the second attack to torch the youth Centre where the election held, then later Nigerian Police intervene to curb the situation. Niger state known for its peaceful atmosphere was thrown into chaos for this act of gangsterism exhibited by Ibrahim G. Ibrahim, as if that was not enough, he went ahead to declare Usman Ayuba as factional Coordinator even when the said Usman Ayuba graciously accept defeat and congratulated Comrade Umar Faruk Lawal the winner of the election.
Suffice it to state; we have taken stock of all the damages and vandalism committed at the venue, which would require the sum of One Million Two Hundred Thousand Naira (#1,200,000:00) expert valuation of damages done, we have both pictorial and video evidence against the SSA when he was leading the army of thugs to destroy the property. Hence, we ask for the immediate and full compensation of the property destroyed within Seven (7)Days of this publication or we would be force to take appropriate measures in our way to tamed this hydra headed monster you appointed as SSA on Students.
Finally Sir, let this also be told that; your appointee have openly threatened to take the life of Mohammed Yusuf the Convention Chairman and should be attacked wherever the thugs come across him. We have taken this threat to life seriously and would institute a legal action soon. Needless to inform you the resolve of Nigerian students when pushes against the caprices of their conscience, the inauguration of Comrade Umar Faruk and his excos is fixed for 30th August 2017 at Jigawa State to further assert his credibility as the democratically elected Coordinator of NANS Zone “A”
Your Excellency time to act is now to redeem your already battered reputation your Janjaweed SSA on Students Ibrahim G. Ibrahim (Babalolo), “a stitch in time saves nine”.
