The former Federal House of Representative member representing Ife constituency, Honourable Rotimi Makinde have extended condolences to Governor Rauf Aregbesola and the entire family on the death of the Governor's mother.
He urged them to take solace in the belief that Alhaja Saratu has gone away from all earthly troubles to rest for eternity in God’s bosom.

According to Makinde, he described the death of Alhaja Saratu “most unfortunate and regrettable.”
“It is most unfortunate that the cold hands of death has snatched away Alhaja Saratu Aregbesola at the prime of her life, when her knowledge and expertise would have been invaluable to her immediate family and the society at large. My heartfelt sympathy goes to Governor Rauf Aregbesola and his family at this trying period, although we know that only God can comfort him”,.
Makinde , who also extended his heartfelt condolences to the family members of the deceased, prayed to almighty God to grant the family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
