The University of Lagos Students under the umbrella association of Distance Learning Institute Students Association DLISA has resolved to hold a lecture series tagged: "Open Distance Learning A Panacea to Sustainable Economy" in the school premises.
According to the President of the students association, Comrade Olawoyin Femi explains the needs for the lecture series to come up which are moulding of the students both morally and intellectually, giving them more ideas on open distance learning and life after school. The keynote speaker is said to be Dr Mrs Adeshina, NUC Secretary while the guest speaker according to Femi is the chancellor of Oduduwa University Ife, Dr Rahman Adedoyin amongs all other imminent personalities such as Honorable Desmond Elliot, Afeez Oyetoro aka Simply Saka, Dr Yolanda David-George, Pst. Ugochukwu Ezeagwula The Royal father of the day remains Oba of Agbowa.
However, the event has been slated for 5th of August at Afe Babalola Main Hall inside the university premises at exactly 10am in the morning with lots of gifts and instant cash prices for the students.
